MFW Chapter Two: Dirk Bikkembergs

Hi guys, today is Bikkembergs's turn!

The new collection of the Belgian fashion designer, that I wanna define synthetic but elegant, urban and very coloured, is the fusion of more universes: the elegant and sportive one.

Using advanced construction techniques, dresses got a particular elegencance, characterised by inlays, much colour like emerald green, lavender, charcoal, egg yellow, camel, burgundy, indigo.

 usually I don't  like  experiments but I must say that this time,Bikkembergs's reworking of the classic has managed to conquer me, resulting impeccable, bold, sportive and effortlessly elegant.

MFW Chapter One: Costume National Homme

I've seen many shows on youtube.com, but I never thought that seeing one of them by live let me be so much excited.

I felt a lot of emotions: anxiety, happiness. I looked like a child who received, as a gift, the toy he always wanted. I was finally there, ready to attend my first fashion show.

Suddenly the lights were on and the musc started: the show had begun!

Models with extreme elegance entered one at time, walking on the catwalk, showing graceful creations of the designer Ennio Capasa, who created a new collection, made up by classical and punk elements, I met my idol in person, like the fabulous Anna Dello Russo.

This was my first show and I will always remember all the emotions that I felt, how my eyes sparkled. And I mus say thanks to my love, without whic I would never, ever had a chance to watch a fashion show.

MFW: Overture

At Ciampino Airport. Waiting for the plane!

Hi guys!
Finally I'm back with a lot of news for my blog!

January is a special busy month. Everywhere is full of so many events linked to fashion: New York, London, Paris, Milan celebrate fashion during the FW.

I feel freaking lucky 'cause this year I took part, for the first time, to the fashion week in Milan. I really appreciated it. My love and I saw many catwalks: Costume National Homme, Andrea Incontri, John Varvatos, Vivienne Westwood, Dirk Bikkembergs, Canali. Finally I used to see them on Youtube.com and I've understood what fashion is.

This is the best adventure of my life. Fucking exciting. Everything started on 11th, when my love and I left Rome to go to Milan. After two hours waiting our plane, we arrived in the magic town, the best one in the world. I enjoyed everything ( food, models, monuments and parties) and I can't wait to come back there with my love in June. In next posts I'll show you all my experiences of this amazing trip. So stay tuned guys to have my view of this magic moment.
